In December you were sent an email from the DfE Connect the Classroom Programme team.
All Priority Area schools are eligible for funding via the Connect the Classroom Programme. The funding provides a grant to upgrade a school’s Wi-Fi network where it doesn’t meet current DfE standards.
If you haven’t already, can you complete the attached Network Asset Form and submit it to DfE Connect the Classroom mailbox at connecttheclassroom.dfeict@education.gov.uk. Please provide information about your current network switches and wireless access points. This will help the team decide the scope of your upgrade. Section B is optional, but please add any additional relevant information. You may need the person that provides your ICT support to help you complete the form.
