2.

Following the conversation at the previous network meeting regarding network meetings and opportunities over the coming Summer term; Michelle is excited to share the news that we can now confirm we will be providing a full day face to face ‘seminar’  – supporting the wellbeing of the school community – on Wednesday 22nd May.

This day will focus on supporting children’s and staff wellbeing and I’m really pleased to announce that we have secured two fantastic key note speakers to present on these areas – Adrian Bethune will be presenting on children’s wellbeing in the morning session and Kerry Lee (Laughology) will be presenting on staff wellbeing in the afternoon session.  During the lunch hour, there will be an opportunity to network with colleagues to find out more about the work that is happening in our schools in relation to the 8 key principles of the whole school approach to promote mental health and wellbeing.

All schools have been allocated 2 places to attend this event.  If you would like to attend the event please book a place (confirming the number of allocated places required) by emailing specialistsupport@derby.gov.uk  by Thursday March 28th.

If you have any queries regarding either of these events please contact michelle.robinson@derby.gov.uk
