About Information Management and Data Analysis
Data provided by our team is widely used to support self-evaluation and set school improvement priorities. The School Analysis Pack - initially provided to sold-service subscribers at the end of the summer term and updated in the autumn term - enables schools to demonstrate during Ofsted inspections, accurate performance information for current pupils analysed by various national indicators and demographic criteria.
We work closely with the Council’s Learning and Skills Division to ensure that our guidance to schools and the analysis that we provide, reflects the changing criteria set out by the Department for Education.
Using the Perspective Lite website, we are able to offer a secure data sharing platform to all schools, with additional interactive, dynamic functionality available to sold-service subscribers, enabling early access to emerging national assessment data.
How we can help
Termly census - general guidance and telephone support for all schools, links to full Department for Education guidance and telephone support.
Assessment - support and guidance for all schools on how to record and return the annual Key Stage Assessments during the summer term.
Unique Pupil Numbers (UPNs) - our team are able to access the National Pupil Database and schools are encouraged to check with us if they do not know a pupil’s UPN, for example if a child is taken on roll and no details have been received from the previous school.
