The School Compliance: Servicing, Day-to-Day Maintenance and Projects on School Sites document offers guidance on the differences between what schools are required do in relation to plant and equipment servicing requirements, day-to-day repairs and the more detailed project work. The document introduces the role of the independent professional advisor that schools must appoint and the DCC Buildings package, along with details of which schools buy into the package.  A summary of the arrangements for school kitchens is also provided. The document also sets out how the Council will communicate and monitor issues of non-compliance.
