We recommend that at least one member of SLT or the Year 6 teaching team attends this course.

This course will outline the process for statutory assessment at the end of Key Stage 2. It will ensure all attendees have an understanding of test arrangements as well as recording and reporting for 2024. STA resources will be referenced, including the Assessment and Reporting Arrangements (ARA).

We will also take the opportunity to explore teacher assessment of writing, including common myths and misconceptions around moderation, such as the range of pieces required and levels of independence necessary for pupils in their writing.

Date: Tuesday 14th November

Time: 9:00am to 12noon

Venue: Nightingale Hall, Derby Leisure and Events Venue, Moor Lane, Derby, DE24 9H.

Cost: £40 per person

Places will be allocated on a first come, first served, but please only book places you know you will take up to ensure as many schools as possible can attend.
