The government recently announced an extension to the Household Support Fund for 6 months to September 2024. As part of this scheme, we are able to fund free school meal holiday food vouchers as follows:
- Easter 24 - £30 voucher per eligible child (already issued in April)
- May 24 half-term - £15 voucher per eligible child
- Summer 24 holiday - £70 voucher per eligible child
We are aiming to ensure schools have their allocation of food voucher codes for the May half-term break, no later than Friday 17th May 2024.
We’ll allocate the number of voucher codes to each school, based on the FSM numbers we confirmed with you recently. These numbers will included 6th form students eligible for FSM.
The voucher codes are for those children who have confirmed FSM eligibility.
If you need additional voucher codes after you’ve received your codes, please email businessupporthub@derby.gov.uk requesting the additional number of voucher codes needed.
We would strongly recommend you keep a record of which voucher codes have been issued to each family as this will aide any queries raised.
