Details for the Nursery to Reception Transition Information Exchange Event are below:
Date: Tuesday 16th May 2023
When: 9am – 7.15pm
Where: Collab (online meeting platform)
This event provides an opportunity for EY providers and schools to share crucial information about some of Derby city’s most vulnerable children so they can settle into Reception as smoothly and as quickly as possible.
So far, 28 EY providers and 28 schools have signed up to the event. If your setting/school have not yet signed up and you wish to attend, please contact emma.sheasby@sdsa.net
What happens next?
- On National Offer Day (17th April) EY providers will be asked to complete a quick form to select which schools they would like to talk to (based on which school’s the children will be attending whom have been identified on the ‘Early Intervention Indicator’ form within the portal).
- w/c 1st May, schools will be informed which EY providers have booked to see them and when.
- Save the date: Thursday 4th May (any time between 9am – 7.15pm) – drop-in session for EY sector to test Collab.
