What? Year 2 and Year 6 writing agreement trialling

• OR Thursday 7th March from 1pm-4pm

We have a fantastic opportunity for teachers in Years 2 and 6 to support assessment of writing through agreement trialling. These sessions that are open to colleagues from all schools in Derby.

Bring samples of work for children in your class and join teachers from across the city to look at writing from the end of each primary key stage. You will have conversations about the samples you have brought and those from other schools. These conversations will be focused on the relevant Teacher Assessment Framework, identifying the evidence already available and possible next steps for children in their learning.

Vincent Hampton, the LA’s Strategic Lead for Statutory Assessment and the Moderation Manager, will be on hand to support conversations if necessary.
