Coram Beanstalk Charity One-To-One Support for Schools

Coram Beanstalk is a national charity with a 50-year history of supporting primary school children to become confident, independent readers and we know that our one to one support particularly helps children from disadvantaged backgrounds that may not have reading support in the home:

"We have had 4 very committed readers who are always professional. The children really enjoy reading with them. The impact has been very evident in how more confident the children are becoming when reading in class, discussing texts in class and answering comprehension questions." Our low cost approach to adding capacity is valued by over 500 schools across England and is used for raising reading attainment and improving children’s confidence and wellbeing, especially in the lowest 20% of readers (OFSTED). Our most recent Impact study shows that 96% of our partner schools saw an improved attitude to learning across the curriculum for children receiving our one to one support.
