The DfE is recirculating the AB reform briefing pack for schools (attached). This is an updated version of the information pack (last issued in May 2023). This information pack is to help ABs provide schools with the information they need about what is changing with local AB services, and any choices school leaders and induction tutors may need to make about how they access AB services ahead of September 2024 to support the induction of ECTs.
We have been asked to share this briefing pack with our schools to assist you with the reminder to register ALL ECTs with a TSH AB by 1 September 2024 (or with ISTIP/ESP if applicable for independent/overseas schools).
