We are delighted to confirm the date for Derby City’s Priority Literacy Project Conference. Taking place on 18th September 2024 at Derby Conference Centre, this will be a purposeful and practical day with expert input, access to resource and planning time, designed to enable Derby schools to get the maximum benefit in the final months of DfE project.

Free Online Author Events for Primary Schools
Booksparks is excited to invite Derby and Nottingham primary schools to a range of FREE virtual author talks, organised as part of the wonderful InspiREAD Book Award!
This brochure details all of the FREE nine author events open to primary schools in the cities as a way to further engage all your pupils in reading and the shortlisted books.
When: Monday 17th June – Thursday 27th June 2024
Time: 10am or 2pm, for 30-40 minutes
Who for: all pupils and staff!

National Literacy Trust are recruiting for an autumn cohort for their 3 programmes; Premier League Reading Starts, Game Changers and Represent.
Game Changers: A 20-week reading programme for Yr 7-9 at risk of exclusion or have been excluded. Find out more here.
