Did you know that almost one in two adults in the UK have raised cholesterol and one in three has high blood pressure?
High cholesterol and blood pressure rarely have symptoms, the only way to know you have a condition is to get them measured.
Colleagues aged 40 plus may qualify for a free NHS Health Check with Livewell which includes a cholesterol and blood pressure check amongst other simple tests to provide heart age and a risk score of having heart disease in the next 10 years. During the 40 minute appointment, the friendly Livewell team will discuss ways to prevent health problems in the future which could include joining the service for free support to stop smoking or manage your weight.
