Primary Programming and Algorithms

In association with North Midlands Computing Hub and funded by the DfE, we have put together a free one-day CPD course to support both computing leads and teachers to upskill themselves to become more confident and effective teachers of computing. A subsidy of £205 is also available to fund supply costs once per academic year for schools in Education Investment Areas; Derby, Derbyshire.

This hands-on course will allow teachers to understand the key vocabulary linked to algorithms and programming and the progression from EYFS – KS2.  The day will include looking at how to utilise Beebots, Scratch Jnr and Scratch into your setting alongside computational thinking and unplugged activities.

Date: 6th February 2024, 9am - 3pm

Location: Spencer Conference Centre, Nottingham, NG8 4BW
