Post 16-19 Home to School Travel Assistance - Consultation Outcome

We would like to let you know that the Post 16-19 Home to School Travel Assistance Consultation Outcome Report was published on the 7 February 2023.

The report will be carefully considered at a full Council Cabinet meeting on Wednesday 15 February 2023.

We will update you after the 15 February 2023 when Council Cabinet will have made a decision on a proposal to instead of the Council arranging taxis and minibuses or paying fuel reimbursements, for this to be replaced with Personal Travel Budget (PTB) payments for all eligible sixth form learners. The proposal will be supported by a new and enriched Independent Travel Training (ITT) service to help and support more young people become independent travellers.
