March 2023 Cohort Start Dates
We are currently recruiting for our March cohort of apprentices – both new in post Level 1 TAs (including colleagues who are employed as apprentices) and those within the first 2 years of appointment are eligible for fully funded training financed by the apprenticeship levy. A baseline audit of prior knowledge helps schools to consider if this is the right pathway for their member of staff
Our curriculum offer covers the full requirements of the TA apprenticeship, and additional bespoke modules to prepare colleagues for a career in education. This includes:
- SEND specific modules provided in partnership with the Whole School SEND Team
- Early Reading, phonics and supporting struggling readers training provided in partnership with the English Hub
- Cognitive science and teaching with memory in mins and trauma and attachment provided in partnership with the Derby Research School
Our curriculum is deliberately built to align with the Early Career Framework to offer continuity across all staff members experience of professional development. As an apprenticeship provider, we also offer recruitment support utilising the Apprenticeship Service supporting schools to recruit new apprentices. Please get in touch if you’d like to find out more.
