NEW LA Educational Psychology Support for Derby City Schools

This article is a repeat. We still have capacity to support more schools. Please do get in touch if you would like EP support from 1 January 2024. Emails confirming support will be sent out to schools who have already contacted us within the next week. 

For the last 2 years we have not been able to offer Derby City schools any Educational Psychology support.

We are really pleased to be able to contact you to let you know that we have been successful in recruiting to the EP team and we are planning to relaunch a traded service. If this is something that you would be interested in please contact me by email on eleanor.moore@derby.gov.uk to arrange a time for a discussion about what you are looking for.

• Coaching, mentoring and reflective supervision for SENCOs
• Supporting whole school SEND planning and staff confidence
• Transition, integration and re-integration plans
• Supporting CYP experiencing school anxiety
• Sensory processing assessments and strategies
• CPD for school staff
• Supporting conversations with parents and carers
• Evidence informed approaches and interventions
• Support for EHCNA requests
• Specialist support for challenging and complex cases
