National Numeracy are launching a new, fully-funded Schools & Families Programme for the 2024-2025 school year.
The programme provides school with CPD training, resources and activities to support them in improving children’s numeracy, whilst also increasing the confidence of the adults who support them. We aim to increase pupils’ confidence with numbers, positive feelings about maths and awareness of the value of maths outside the classroom. The programme also aims to increase parents’, carers’ and school staff’s confidence in supporting children with maths, providing schools with lasting approaches and strategies that will continue in schools beyond the end of the programme.
We have places for 40 primary schools including at least 10 from the East Midlands. The deadline for applications is Friday 31st May 2024.
