Understanding feelings and behaviour in the early years: making a positive difference

This is a face to face Area of Learning session that follows on from Fiona Holiday’s session on PSED delivered last year. We will consider the developmental progression of emotional understanding and the behaviours linked to this. We will explore positive ways of supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs and consider the main challenges young children are struggling with in our post pandemic world. There will be time to reflect and discuss current behaviour policies and practice with a focus on meeting children’s emotional needs.
