Reflecting and Assessing Your SEND Provision

The session aims to support Leaders, including SENCOs, complete purposeful self-evaluations of their SEND practice within their schools.

The Review Process

Will consider multiple areas of school life that could impact a child such as:

• Outcomes for pupils with SEND
• Leadership of SEND
• The quality of teaching and learning for pupils with SEND
• Working with pupils and parents/carers of pupils with SEND
• Assessment and identification
• Monitoring, tracking and evaluation
• The efficient use of resources
• The quality of SEND provision

Case Study

A case study will be shared of how a successful review has been completed and what activities were undertaken to complete this.
