Derby City Council & Severn Trent - Big Boost Event
Location - Pride Park Stadium, Derby DE24 8XL
Date and Time - 23rd October from 10:00 till 14:00
The Big Boost Event
Aims to increase application into education, employment, training, and apprenticeships.
The Audience
The event will take place at Pride Park Stadium, Derby, we expect over 800 residents to attend, as well as pupils from local secondary schools, Derby College and University.
Event Programme Overview
The event offers attendees 30+ employer stands to promote vacancies, alongside access to workshops which will run through during the event
The Employer Stands
As an employer with a stand at this event. You will have the opportunity to meet:
- hundreds of jobseekers and residents engaged to attend via our outdoor, social and partner marketing campaigns.
- hundreds of students from local secondary schools
- university students and graduates
- a more diverse audience than a traditional recruitment event, based on our marketing strategy.
Key information:
- 30 stands are available to book – on a first come first served basis.
- Size: each stand 2 x 3m
- Cost: there is no charge to booking a stand.
- Set up between 9 – 10am
- Eligibility: all we ask is that you: are based in or around Derby City (travel to work area)
- will have apprenticeships or employment opportunities live for application.
- offer some level of learning and/or attendee activity/ engagement on your stand.
