Mandatory Health & Safety Training Programme

In May, following a pause in delivering face to face training due to the pandemic, the CHST relaunched their programme of mandatory health and safety training for schools.

The second phase of this training programme will be rolled out from September.

Actions

• Check the H&S training competency matrix contained within the Health and Safety Training Policy (appendix 1) and decide which courses are mandatory / desirable for you and your managers. The matrix gives timescales for completion and / or when refresher training is required
• Consult the training brochure on SIP for details each course, dates, times and venue
• Book onto courses using the health and safety training course booking form
