Reminder: Keep Test Materials Secure

To ensure that no pupil has an advantage over another, please remember to always keep test materials secure, and do not discuss their content with anyone, including online or on social media. You should treat them as confidential until the end of:

  • Friday 20 May for KS2 test materials
  • Wednesday 1 June for KS1 test materials
  • Monday 20 June for phonics screening check materials

If you notice any breaches, please report them immediately to the national curriculum assessments helpline on 0300 303 3013 or at assessments@education.gov.uk.

There is full guidance on how to keep KS1 and KS2 national curriculum tests and phonics screen check materials secure and further information is also available in the test administration guidance.

It is importance that leaders maintain a log of when materials are taken out and returned to secure storage.
