KS1 and KS2 Statutory Assessment

STA have this week sent out reminders and actions on the following statutory assessments for KS1 and KS2

• summary of upcoming important dates
• submit KS2 timetable variation applications by Thursday 19 May
• return KS2 test scripts for marking
• make aid and pupil cheating notifications (KS2)
• KS1 tests
• access the multiplication tables check service via DfE Sign-in
• phonics screening check
• complete KS2 headteacher’s declaration form by Thursday 20 May
• submit KS2 teacher assessment data
• Publication: KS2 special consideration guidance

Reminder: Keep Test Materials Secure

To ensure that no pupil has an advantage over another, please remember to always keep test materials secure, and do not discuss their content with anyone, including online or on social media. You should treat them as confidential until the end of:

• Friday 20 May for KS2 test materials
• Wednesday 1 June for KS1 test materials
• Monday 20 June for phonics screening check materials

If you notice any breaches, please report them immediately to the national curriculum assessments helpline on 0300 303 3013 or at assessments@education.gov.uk.

It is importance that leaders maintain a log of when materials are taken out and returned to secure storage.
