Research: Educational Psychology Service
Since 2005 Educational Psychology training in the United Kingdom requires trainees to complete Doctoral level courses, which involve completing research projects. Educational Psychologists (EPs) therefore have experience and training in completing high quality research projects. Research can therefore be commissioned from the Educational Psychology Service on a Local Authority or School strategic level, on request.
Doctoral research has been completed by Derby City EPs in the following areas:
- Restorative Justice.
- Motivational Interviewing.
- Group Consultation.
- Outcomes for children and young people with hearing impairments.
