Communications - design and print services

This service is for all schools and academies.

The council’s creative team offer experience and expertise in branding, marketing and design. Before joining the council’s communications division we acquired over ten years’ experience of working within the children and young people’s directorate. Our staff has an excellent understanding of local schools and their communication needs.

We manage the whole design and print process, taking your ideas and using our creativity and expertise to enhance them. We provide design concepts, proofing and printing from your initial ideas through to the finished product.

Our clients include many Derby city schools, day care centres and our children’s centres. We also work for many of the council’s departments as well as external clients.

We are conscious of tight budgets and provide great value for money along with speedy and efficient delivery without compromising on quality. We pride ourselves on fresh ideas and innovative designs that will enhance the reputation of your school.

Cost

We charge £35 an hour. We can provide a quote for any creative work you require. For example: Design cost of a 12 page brochure is between £245 - £315 (depending on the complexity of the job).
