Employment law

This service is for all schools and academies.

What the service provides

The Employment Law Service is available directly to schools and academies in the city. You can contact our lawyers on all employment law matters (including performance, grievances, disciplinaries, allegations of discrimination, tribunal claims, settlement agreements, TUPE transfers, matters arising out of LADO meetings and more).

Paul, Charlotte and Paulette will give you prompt, practical and expert legal advice and support on all employment issues affecting your school.

Our solicitors are available to you when you need them by telephone, email and in person.

Full terms available on request.

Benefits for your school

Paul McMahon, Charlotte Hutton and Paulette Brown (a new addition to the team) are practising solicitors supported by the wider legal team. Between us we have more than 50 years of experience in employment law – much of that in education - providing practical advice and support. Paul is also school governor.

We have already worked with many of you; we understand the type and variety of employment problems you face; and we know the law.

We deliver a high quality service, quickly, effectively and at a competitive price.
