Understanding the World

We are sorry that we had to cancel the session last year about Understanding the World. Leaders and practitioners have asked for a session on this important area of learning because they feel that they lack confidence in their subject knowledge. This area of learning was the lowest after literacy in the 2022 early years profile assessments in the city.

Ruth Swailes, Nursery World Trainer of the Year and School Improvement Officer will run a virtual session for early education settings on Tuesday 11 October from 09.30 to 11.30. The session will look at and beyond the educational programme in the EYFS
