A wide range of organisations are taking part in this year’s Winter Holiday Activity and Food Programme (HAF). Derby City Council is working in partnership with Community Action Derby to provide free holiday club places during the two-week break.

There are 22 providers located across the city. These include Schools Out Club, which has activities including sports, arts and crafts, cookery and fun themed days. There are also some new providers supporting the scheme for the first time, including Evergreen Collective, who work closely with schools to support young girls be more active, more healthy and develop their character, and Progressive Sports, who will hold a multi-sport-based holiday camp.

The HAF scheme offers activities and food to children aged 5 to 16 who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals in Derby. Families can find out about all the activities and providers for Derby by visiting the Derby HAF webpage.
