Derby City Council Public Health have produced two information sheets on Strep A. One information sheet is for parents and carers and explains what Strep A is, what scarlet fever is, the symptoms to look out for and how you can stop the spread of infection. The second information sheet is for school staff and additionally explains actions you can take in your setting to stop the spread of infection and in the event of any cases.
We have also been asked to share two letters from the UK Health Security Agency about the recent increase in scarlet fever cases. One letter is for schools and the other is for schools to share with parents/carers.
