Early Years Transition Portal Information Events

School Transition and the SDSA would like to invite you to attend one of our free Nursery to Reception Transition Portal Information Events, taking place on Tuesday 17th January and Thursday 2nd February 2023.

The sessions will take place online, at various times and will last 45 minutes - we hope you can attend a session that meets your needs. Nursery to Reception Transition Portal Event Flyer

Following a successful pilot in summer 2022, the Transition Portal allows early years’ providers to share important information about all children starting at a Derby City school in September 2023. The portal is fully funded, with no cost to early years’ providers or schools to use the portal.

Our information event allows Derby City early years’ providers and schools to learn more about the Nursery to Reception Transition Portal rollout in 2023, including how the portal enhances transition for children, the transition portal process and the time saving benefits of the portal.
